General Practitioner Midden-Holland

The General Practitioner provides emergency GP care in the evening, night and weekends to the more than 280,000 residents in the Central Holland region. In addition to triage nurses and general practitioners, there are also physician assistants and nursing specialists working at General Practitioner Midden-Holland (HAP MH).

Due to the expansion of the team, there is room at General Practitioner Midden-Holland (HAP MH) for a nurse specialist (VS) and/or physician assistant (PA).

Job description

As a VS/PA, you play an important role in diagnosing and treating patients with single, common complaints. You carry out this work independently and use the NHG standards and protocols of the organization.

You will work closely with a team of professionals: general practitioners, triage nurses, consultation nurses and drivers. The modern General Practitioner is located in the Groene Hart Hospital in Gouda and is recognized as a practical training institution by V&VN.

• Have obtained your diploma in Nurse Specialist AGZ and are registered as a nurse specialist, or have obtained your diploma in Physician Assistant general practice or similar
• Have affinity and work experience with emergency care and/or general practitioner care
• Enjoys working evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Are interested in performing cross-functional activities and activities at the intersection of organization and patient care (including providing training and quality/management tasks)
• Have good communication and collaboration skills
• Have a professional and flexible working attitude
• You have an AED resuscitation diploma and are willing to follow training and education in the context of professional practice
